EMDR Therapy, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a highly effective, evidence-based approach developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro. It helps reduce the lasting emotional, mental, and behavioral effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, loss, and other challenging experiences.
Backed by substantial clinical research, EMDR supports the brain in processing distressing memories stored in the nervous system, allowing them to be reprocessed with a reduced emotional charge. This approach can significantly improve mental health, emotional balance, and overall well-being.
"The body remembers, the bones remember, the joints remember, even the little finger remembers."
- Clarissa Pinkola Estes
In my practice, I use the Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR (S.A.F.E.) approach, which pays close attention to how trauma can show up in the body while also exploring attachment wounds that may influence emotional distress. This method allows clients to develop a greater sense of safety and grounding in their bodies, providing a secure foundation as they navigate and process difficult memories and emotions.
By honoring both the body and relational patterns, S.A.F.E. EMDR helps clients move toward healing with compassion, resilience, and a deeper connection to themselves.
As an EMDR certified therapist through EMDRIA, I am committed to the highest standards of ethical and effective care. My certification reflects ongoing training and dedication to delivering EMDR therapy with skill and compassion.

My rate for EMDR therapy is $150 for the initial evaluation and $125 for each ongoing session. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, using EMDR to gently work through past experiences and help you feel calmer, grounded, and confident in the present.
I offer EMDR on a private pay basis, which gives us the freedom to tailor each session to your unique journey. This allows us to focus deeply on your healing with flexibility and privacy. If you’d like to seek reimbursement, I can provide a superbill to submit to your insurance provider.
Initial Evaluation: $150 per 60-minute session
